The Henna Artist is another historical fiction that I think I will love. I have been wanting to get back into historical fiction and I think that this is the perfect book to help me fall in love with the genre again. This is a new release and is under 300 pages. Then I have the most recent addition to my collection, and that is Yellow Wife by Sadeqa Johnson. All I know about it is that it set during Victorian England and that the main character ends up in British Columbia. The Brideship Wife by Leslie Howard, which is an ARC from Simon and Schuster Canada. I am so curious to see what she does with Marilyn Monroe’s story, and it is also being adapted into a movie. I found We Were the Mulvaneys in a little free library, and Blonde is the book by her I have been recommended the most. I have two books by Joyce Carol Oates, who is an author I have never read from before.
